Kentucky’s public agenda for post secondary education has become a nationally recognized model for higher education reform. The agenda calls for a fundamental, profound shift in the way the post secondary system approaches its work:

Universities and colleges with accredited professional programs, and state-of-the-art vocational training facilities are present in the Region, enrolling over 16,000 students.

Technical College in Paducah, Murray State University in Murray, University of Kentucky Engineering campus in Paducah, and Mid-Continent University of Mayfield. Employees have a multitude of avenues for upgrading skills and life-long learning through a variety of public and private providers.
