ENDANGERED SPECIES: COMPLETE

Tract 1 (North Section) -

A study was conducted in the summer and fall of 2003 under the direction of Lockwood Greene (no listed species were found). This report advised that a “Habitat Conservation Plan” should be developed and implemented under the direction of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

There are portions of the park that are in the floodplain & floodway of Mayfield Creek that will not be in the constructed industrial areas of the park. These areas should provide good habitat for the management of both threatened and endangered species that may be found.
