ARCHAEOLOGICAL STUDY:

Tract 2 (South Section) -

UK Program for Archaeological Research will also be surveying the southern 1/3 of Tract 2 (South Section) that had not previously studied. In addition a previously reported site 15GV37, a World War II munitions factory, was assessed as eligible for NRHP listing and will need a Phase II NRHP eligibility Assessment.

This additional surveying to be conducted by UK-PAR should be completed in the fall of 2009 and will result in a combined Phase I and Phase II report. The Phase II portion of the report will target NRHP eligibility assessment for the World War II munitions factory.
